Office Manager

1755 Gunnison Ave, Delta, CO 81416Full-time$45,000–$70,000 base salary, commensurate with experience

Rocky Mountain Building Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, professional Office Manager to oversee daily administrative, HR, and financial support operations across our four company locations. In this role you will serve as the operational backbone of the company — directly managing payroll and HR functions, driving company-wide administrative initiatives, and partnering with our Finance Manager on accounts payable and expense management. The ideal candidate thrives in a multi-site environment, balances routine tasks with dynamic special projects, and possesses exceptional communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

Payroll & Human Resources

  • Execute end-to-end processing of regular payroll, ensuring accuracy in hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain confidential personnel files, track paid time off (PTO), and assist with benefits administration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal HR inquiries and ensure company policies are consistently applied across all locations

Administrative Support

  • Centralize and streamline the ordering, inventory tracking, and distribution of office supplies, technology, and equipment for all locations
  • Draft and distribute clear, engaging internal announcements, newsletters, and policy updates to maintain alignment across all offices
  • Lead and execute ad-hoc operational projects such as office moves, company events, software migrations, and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide direct administrative support to the General Manager and company ownership
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling requests for company-wide activities
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and meeting materials
  • Assist with confidential communications and sensitive business information
  • Coordinate company events, leadership meetings, and special projects
  • Support management with research, reporting, and project coordination
  • Oversee company initiatives associated with data analysis, business expansion, vendor engagement, and team training

Financial Support & Expense Management

  • Review, verify, and code vendor invoices; collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Oversee company credit card reconciliation, collect employee receipts, and audit expense reports to ensure alignment with company policy
  • Assist in preparing regular financial reports, gathering documentation, and compiling data for the Finance Manager and executive team
  • Provide administrative support for collections and account follow-up activities as directed

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in office management, operations management, or a blended HR/administrative role
  • Proven experience processing payroll and a strong foundational understanding of basic accounting principles (AP, expense tracking, financial documentation)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience using accounting or ERP software
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger coding
  • Experience with document management and digital record systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $45,000–$70,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility to support operations as business needs require
