We're Expanding and Moving — Just Around the Corner

Big things are happening behind the scenes, and we're excited to share some news: our Lumber Department and Admin team are moving.
Don't worry — we aren't going far. In fact, we're only moving around the corner to 1755 Gunnison Ave in Delta, which sits in the same business park, adjacent to our existing facility. While the address may be changing, our commitment to our customers, our community, and the work we do remains the same.
We've already made a lot of progress on the project, and it's exciting to see everything starting to come together. From planning and preparation to getting the new space ready, there has been plenty happening. Each step brings us closer to opening the doors and settling into our new headquarters.
Groundwork and Fencing
We have completed the groundwork to get the site leveled and prepared for the next phase, along with getting the fence installed to keep the site secured. A level, secure site gives us a great foundation to keep moving forward.

Concrete Slabs and Lumber Racking
We are having concrete slabs poured to provide a solid foundation for our expanded exterior lumber racks. The slabs keep our lumber elevated off the ground and away from moisture and uneven surfaces, both of which can cause warping and mold. That means the lumber stays clean, dry, organized, and in good condition — so the product we hand our customers is a quality one.

Retail Entrance
At the new location we are giving our retail space a facelift, and that all starts outside. We are building a tasteful new storefront featuring a glass entryway and a custom timber-frame awning that creates an inviting entrance to our retail space.
Sales Counter and Retail Space
Another exciting part of our new site is coming together with the new sales counter going up. This space will allow each of our retail salespeople to comfortably assist members of the public while having plenty of room to work alongside and support one another.
This new retail store more than doubles the space we have for stock items. That means we will be significantly expanding our product range to offer more solutions to our customers' problems — and more choices to be creative with.

Showroom
With the move we will be building an expansive new showroom so we can properly highlight all the products we stock or can order for you — helping you better visualize your project and turn your plans into reality.
Lumber Warehouse
At the new location we have a large warehouse attached to our retail space, and we have even bigger plans for how we intend to fill it.
Having this much space on site means we will have the capacity to bring in new product lines, hold more stock on hand, and — most importantly — get customers what they need more quickly.
More space means more choice, better availability, and faster service. That is exactly what we want from the new site, and we cannot wait to put our new warehouse to good use.

What This Means for Rebar
The move to the new location doesn't mean we will no longer be able to serve concrete contractors and those looking for rebar — in fact, it means just the opposite. By moving our retail and lumber operations around the corner, we create more room to expand our offering in the world of rebar and concrete accessories, stocking items that previously have been special order only.
Our Rebar Department will remain at our existing location on Industrial Blvd, where the team will continue to operate as usual while taking advantage of the additional space and opportunities this move creates.
What the Move Means for Rocky Mountain Building Solutions
This move is an exciting opportunity for us to improve, grow, and create an even better experience for our customers and our community. We're looking forward to bringing you along as the project continues to take shape.
Same business. Same people. Same great service. Just an additional location around the corner.
We'll be sharing more updates as we get closer to the big move, so stay tuned. We can't wait to welcome you to our new location in November.
Thank You to Our Contractors
We want to extend a huge thanks to the contractors who have been working hard to bring our vision to life. We truly appreciate the hard work, dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail each company has brought to the job. We know projects like this take a lot of time, coordination, and effort, and we are grateful to every one of them for helping bring it all together.
